The LOE Difference

A Thoughtful Approach to Learning

X5 Education Method

Developed by a local Educational Developmental Psychologist, the X5 Education Method places purposeful exploration at the centre of early learning.

Children Explore, Experience, Explain, Exemplify and Excel through hands-on opportunities inside and outside the classroom. Teachers connect lessons to real-life examples, inspiring curiosity and a lasting drive for excellence.

Self-Regulatory Strategies and Morning Ruqyah Therapy

Self-regulatory strategies are practised daily to encourage good habits, manners and emotional awareness.

For Muslim children, the day begins with morning Ruqyah Therapy, supporting a calm start grounded in faith and emotional wellbeing.

Project-Based Learning

Traditional book-based learning is expanded into a more explorative, hands-on and project-based approach.

Children create projects suited to their developmental needs, encouraging creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking.

School Readiness for Six-Year-Olds

Our dedicated readiness activities help six-year-olds prepare for the transition into primary education.

The programme eases anxieties about schooling while building confidence, independence and enthusiasm for the next stage.

Annual Co-Curriculum Activities

Experiences outside the classroom complement the six strands of learning in the National Standard Preschool Curriculum.

These shared activities help children apply classroom learning, collaborate with others and discover new interests.

Additional Tahfiz Programme

The additional Tahfiz programme supports children in strengthening their memorisation ability.

Learning takes place in a calm and nurturing environment that respects each child's pace and growing confidence.

What age group is the Preschool Programme for?

LOE Preschool welcomes children aged 5 to 6 years old, providing a strong foundation that prepares them academically, socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and spiritually for primary school.

What will my child learn in preschool?

Guided by the Malaysian National Preschool Curriculum, our founder, an Educational Psychologist, developed the LOE X5 Learning Journey, where every child progresses through five meaningful stages of learning.

The LOE X5 Learning Journey

At Little Ones Eduworld (LOE), we believe that meaningful learning happens through a carefully designed journey that inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and nurtures positive character.

eXplore — I Discover

Children begin by exploring their surroundings, asking questions, making observations, and developing curiosity about the world around them.

eXperience — I Learn by Doing

Children participate in meaningful hands-on activities, play-based learning, experiments, and real-life experiences that make learning enjoyable and memorable.

eXplain — I Can Tell You

Children are encouraged to express their ideas, explain their thinking, ask questions, and communicate confidently using appropriate language.

eXemplify — I Show What I Know

Children apply what they have learned through problem-solving, creativity, leadership, and positive behaviours in everyday situations.

eXcel — I Grow Every Day

As learning becomes part of their daily lives, children develop excellent habits including responsibility, resilience, independence, kindness, respect, discipline, and a lifelong love of learning.

Through this progressive approach, children are encouraged to explore new ideas, engage in meaningful hands-on experiences, explain what they have learned, demonstrate their understanding through real-life applications, and gradually develop excellent lifelong learning habits.

Our comprehensive preschool programme includes:

  • Languages: Bahasa Melayu, English, Jawi, and Arabic
  • Cognitive Development: Meaningful Mathematics and Adventurous Science
  • Islamic Education: Morning Ruqyah, Islamic Studies, Quran Memorisation, and Solat
  • Creative Development: Creative Arts and Music
  • Physical Development: Physical Education and movement activities
  • Annual Activities: Outdoor Nature Learning, Outdoor Educational Visits, Family Sports Day, Little Hajj Simulation, Little Qari & Qariah Event, Maulidur Rasul Celebration, Mother & Father's Day Celebrations, Teacher's Day Celebration, as well as Creativity and Achievement Day Celebration.

To reinforce classroom learning, LOE has also developed and published its own series of learning books, allowing children to revisit, practise, and strengthen what they have learned both in school and at home.

At LOE, we believe that learning is not simply about acquiring knowledge—it is about inspiring children to become confident thinkers, effective communicators, compassionate individuals, and enthusiastic lifelong learners.

How is the preschool day structured?

At Little Ones Eduworld (LOE), every part of the day is thoughtfully planned to nurture children's spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development in a balanced and enjoyable learning environment.

The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with our Morning Ruqyah Session, creating a calm and positive atmosphere as children prepare for a joyful day of learning.

From 8:00 a.m. to 8:50 a.m., children participate in our Morning Assembly, where they enjoy songs, greetings, Moral and Scientific Reminders, and daily Physical Exercise to promote healthy habits and positive values. Muslim children also perform Solat together twice a week as part of their spiritual development.

Following the assembly, children enjoy a healthy refreshment before engaging in meaningful classroom learning based on our LOE X5 Learning Journey. Through carefully planned activities, they develop language, mathematics, science, creativity, Islamic education, and other essential early childhood skills in an engaging and supportive environment.

Our Morning Preschool Programme concludes at 12:00 noon.

For children enrolled in our Enriched Programme, the learning journey continues beyond the morning session. A nutritious lunch is served, followed by a short rest (nap) to help children recharge for the afternoon.

At 2:00 p.m., Muslim children perform Solat Zohor, while all children prepare for the afternoon learning session.

From 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., children participate in our Reading Reinforcement Programme, strengthening their literacy skills in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Iqra' through enjoyable and interactive learning experiences.

Afternoon tea is served from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing children with time to relax, socialise, and refuel.

Between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., children take part in our exciting Enriched Programme, where they learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. They rotate through engaging activities as:

  • Little Gardeners
  • Little Creative Minds
  • Little Science Explorers
  • Little Chefs
  • Little Maths Explorers

These enrichment experiences encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and independence while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.

As they await their parents, children are free to enjoy our safe outdoor playground, where they continue to build friendships, strengthen their physical skills, and end the day with joyful play.

How does LOE prepare children for primary school?

At Little Ones Eduworld (LOE), preparing children for primary school goes beyond teaching them to read, write, and count. We believe that true school readiness is achieved when children are academically prepared, emotionally resilient, socially confident, and eager to learn.

Every learning experience at LOE is thoughtfully designed based on principles of educational psychology, ensuring that children develop not only strong academic foundations but also the essential life skills needed to thrive in primary school and beyond.

Through our signature LOE X5 Learning Journey—eXplore, eXperience, eXplain, eXemplify, and eXcel—children are encouraged to think critically, communicate confidently, solve problems creatively, work collaboratively, and become independent learners. These skills help children adapt smoothly to new learning environments and embrace future challenges with confidence.

Our curriculum nurtures the whole child by developing:

  • Strong literacy and numeracy foundations
  • Language and communication skills in Bahasa Melayu, English, Jawi, and Arabic
  • Logical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Curiosity, creativity, and scientific inquiry
  • Self-confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Good character, responsibility, discipline, and lifelong learning habits

To further strengthen children's academic readiness, LOE offers a dedicated Reading Reinforcement Programme during the afternoon session. This programme provides personalised guidance for children who require additional support in reading, writing, numeracy, and reasoning (4M—membaca, menulis, mengira, and mentaakul). Through small-group instruction and engaging learning activities, children build confidence while progressing at a pace that matches their individual developmental needs.

By the time they complete their preschool journey at LOE, our children are equipped not only with the knowledge and skills needed for primary school but also with the confidence, resilience, curiosity, and love of learning that empower them to embrace new opportunities and achieve their full potential.

How does LOE keep parents involved?

At Little Ones Eduworld (LOE), we believe that parents are a child's first and most important educators. A strong partnership between preschool and family creates a supportive environment where children feel valued, understood, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

LOE actively encourages meaningful parent involvement through various activities and communication platforms designed to strengthen the connection between home and school. Throughout the year, many of our preschool programmes and special events provide opportunities for parents to participate, celebrate their children's achievements, and experience their learning journey together.

To ensure continuous communication and collaboration, LOE maintains dedicated social media groups that allow teachers and parents to share important updates, classroom activities, learning experiences, and relevant information about children's development.

In addition, Parent-Teacher Meetings are conducted three times a year to provide parents with comprehensive updates on their children's progress, achievements, strengths, and areas for further development. These discussions allow teachers and parents to work together in supporting each child's individual needs and growth.

At LOE, we believe that when parents and educators work hand-in-hand, children receive consistent guidance, encouragement, and support—creating a strong foundation for confidence, character development, and lifelong learning.

LOE's Home-School Partnership Model recognises that children's development is most successful when parents and educators share understanding, communicate openly, and work together towards common developmental goals.
